This privacy policy describes how Electra ("the app", "we", "us") collects, uses, and discloses
information when you use the app. Electra is a suite of calculator and unit-conversion tools
published by Robert Levonyan (package name com.robertlevonyan.electra).
Electra's core features (calculator, unit converters, area/perimeter/volume, BMI, function graphing, and similar tools) work entirely on your device and do not require an account, collect personal information, or transmit your calculations anywhere.
Beyond that core functionality, the app uses the following third-party services, each of which may collect information as described below.
The free version of the app shows banner and interstitial ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use device information, advertising identifiers, and approximate (non-precise) location for the purpose of showing and measuring ads, including personalized ads where consent has been given.
Before any ad is requested, the app shows Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent form to users in the EEA, UK, and other regions where consent is legally required, and only requests ads once consent has been given or is not required. You can review or withdraw that consent at any time from the app's overflow menu (⋮) > Privacy options.
See Google's own disclosures for details on what AdMob collects and how it's used:
The app uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand feature usage and diagnose crashes. Analytics collection is gated by the same consent decision described in 1.1 (Google Consent Mode v2): if you decline consent, analytics/ad-related data collection is disabled, not just ad personalization.
See Google's Firebase privacy documentation: firebase.google.com/support/privacy
Electra Pro (ad removal, offered as monthly/yearly subscriptions or a one-time lifetime purchase) is sold and processed entirely through Google Play's billing system. We do not collect, see, or store your payment card details, billing address, or other payment information — that is handled entirely by Google Play under Google's own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
The app itself only stores, locally on your device, whether you currently hold an active Pro entitlement (so ads can be turned off without contacting Google Play every time the app opens). This local record is not transmitted to us.
The currency converter feature fetches current exchange rates from a third-party exchange-rate API. This request only includes the currency codes being converted — no personal or device-identifying information is sent.
Information collected by the third-party services above is used to:
We do not sell your information, and we do not have our own servers that collect or store personal data beyond what's described above.
Electra is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ad requests are not configured for child-directed treatment.
On-device data (your Pro entitlement cache, app launch count) is retained locally until you uninstall the app or clear its data. Data collected by AdMob, Firebase, and Google Play is retained and secured according to Google's own policies, linked above.
We may update this policy as the app's ads, analytics, or billing behavior changes. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
